Three and a half years ago I met a man who I just couldn’t shake. In 15 days we will make it official in front of our nearest and dearest.  This week I have been overwhelmed with feelings of happiness and love and knowing that I am so fortunate to have met a man who is so perfect for me.

As any bride knows, planning a wedding (big or small) takes hours of preparation, organization, research and creativity.  Fortunately for me, I love this stuff!  After months of getting all of details together, I feel prepared and surprisingly calm about the upcoming weeks.  I know that our celebration will be just how I picture it; simple and beautiful with touches of my personal style that will incorporate the unique.

Our great friend will be marrying us in a beautiful setting with a simple ceremony, which is what I am most looking forward to! I cannot wait for our family and friends to arrive in a week and help us to celebrate our next chapter.
I feel like the luckiest woman to have found my man and
I cannot wait to be Mrs. Munro!

Muah, Y’all!!!

four

Bet The Ranch is 4 today!  I am one lucky cowgirl to own my own store in Jackson Hole.  It would not be possible without the support, love, and loyalty from all of my friends, family and customers!  Here’s to another 4 years!  Salud!

I apologize for the boobies, but this photo is just too hot not to post!
Happy Friday…perhaps a bike ride is now in the weekend plans?

stay true

There is so much inspiration these days - amazing blogs, Pinterest, Facebook, DIY-ers TV programs - that it is easy to get overwhelmed and gravitate towards trends or get caught up in the moment with a project.  I love this quote and it is a great reminder to take a moment and be true to your style!

Incorporate the unexpected in your outdoor decor.  I love the rusted tables and chairs, the vintage mexican dough bowls, and the skull planters!

Skull planters…cool or creepy?  I say 100% Cool!!!!

Last week we pulled out the rakes, pruners, and wheel barrow.  We began spring cleaning and got the areas prepped where we are planning to add a raised vegetable garden and a chicken coop.  However, living in the mountains means that is it not really Spring until May-ish.  So when the temperatures dropped and the snow started flying again, I found myself searching Pinterest for some ideas.  I have always wanted to put a fire pit in our backyard, but it is not flat so it may be challenging to pull off…the latest idea, a chiminea!  I am optomistic that the weather will be beautiful and stay that way…soon!

masters

The Masters has been on the television for the past three days and it is - hands down – Mac’s favorite sporting event.  We had the great fortune of attending this incredible event in 2010 and watched Phil Michelson put on the prestigious green jacket.  It was my first time at any golfing event.  Augusta National is something else…no cell phones or cameras allowed, manually turned scoreboards, no sponsor ads, southern hospitality that extends beyond what is expected, and cheap food and drink!  We found our favorite spot behind the 15th tee box and spent afternoons there after walking the course.  Everyday, for four days, we ate pimento cheese sandwich.   I now make this southern staple each year during the masters.  Someday I hope we get to go back and enjoy the real deal again!  Let’s go Freddy!!

denim

Recently, I was asked about my style.  It was suggested by this person that I dress girly, but I have a rugged lifestyle.  This got me thinking.  I have been trying to develop a signature style for years while staying true to fashion that makes me feel confident and look good.  I think that my style is girly but what I cannot get enough of is denim.  It is a staple in my closet and I wear it almost everyday.  Denim on Denim…never a faux pas in my book.
